Socialism, Shortages, | Energy and the United States of America

For those who've read Ayn Rand's books such as;
- We the Living,
- Fountain Head,
- Anthem,
- Atlas Shrugged;
nothing I will say here today will come as any sort of surprise or shock. Those who have a background in economics will also fully understand the realities of what I will say here in this article. Okay so let's begin with some modern day evidence of how socialist economic collapse occurs shall we?

There was a great article in Activist Post Online News titled; "Venezuela Shows Us What An Electricity Shortage Looks Like," by Daisy Luther on April 11, 2016 which stated;
"In February, citizens who were already facing shortages and long lines for items like cooking oil, laundry soap, diapers and food were absolutely stunned when shopping centers were forced to shut off power from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and again from 7:00 to 9:00 in a measure to save electricity. The rationing in Venezuela is a cautionary tale. Here's why we need to pay attention to what's going on in Venezuela: It provides a modern-day glimpse into what an economic collapse really looks like, much like the collapse the collapse of Greece was a cautionary tale. These are both direct case studies of what happens to the middle class during an economic collapse."
On the same day that article came out ABC had a news segment on TV by Mary Alice Parks (10:00 news) titled: "Bernie Sanders Proposes National Ban on Fracking," and I am beginning to see a very troubling pattern here, and in case you think this will not affect you personally, think again because my local paper VC Star had an article, again on the same day titled; "Forum Slated on Electricity Rates - Plan would hike bills starting in 2018," by Mike Harris which explained a new scheme which would be phased in going from the current 4-tier system to a two-tiered system of billion and next year you'd pay for your electricity at the exact time of usage - meaning if you used energy during peak times it would be much higher, low-peak times a little lower.

Why is all this happening? Simple, big government, socialism, and the greening of our energy sector by Global Warming Alarmists and their agenda. You see, when your local electricity utility is forced to buy renewables at a much higher cost, energy which is unreliable during peak demand they must also develop new infrastructure to store the energy for non-peak use, put in new transmission lines to wind farms and large scale solar farms, and pay for all those good-for-nothing smart meters which are actually hazardous for your health due. All so do-gooder socialist can complete their UN Agenda 21 mandates and comply with silly self-imposed Climate Change treaty promises (most of which will not be reciprocated by other nations).
Who pays for all this - you do - get used to it, and expect shortages, black-outs and higher energy costs starting now and well into the future. If you want to know how bad it will get - just look at Venezuela, Argentina, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Portugal to name a few of the nearly economically collapsed socialist countries whose governments were voted into power by naïve citizens by masterful promises of corrupt politicians. Think on this.
